BUSTER @ 5 MONTHS WITH HIS SIRE'S SOULFUL EXPRESSION
Buster is turning out to be one fantastic puppy and we just love his name as a tribute to his sire. His is now living in New York and getting all the attention he deserves. Mike used to own Rottweilers and is now a devoted American Bulldog owner. Unfortunately when our computer crashed we lost many of our pictures and email updates of Buster. In the past Mike has referred to Buster as his best friend. Buster seems to have many friends and makes them whenever he goes out of the house. He is super confident, social, drivey, and outgoing...exactly how an American Bulldog should be. When Buster was here he was a a nicely balanced dog on all ends. We are so excited to see Buster has his sire's soulful expression and can understand why people love him so much as he obviously has Sugar Daddy's charisma. We cant wait to see how Buster develops and are excited to convert such great owners to over to the American Bulldog breed.
"He is just great. His teeth are very big; he likes to use them to chew my expensive base mouldings among other things. He has plenty of bones and toys and chew toys. That nice bed is now DOA; he ate it on Saturday. He has a great personality and loves people. When I take him for walks I have to be prepared to be out for at least an hour since every neighbor has to say hi to him and play with him for a little while. I have neighbors that come over on Saturdays and Sundays just to play with him(They are in there late 30's, but act like happy little kids when they are around Buster). It's just great. He has a lot of energy and can jump extremely high and runs very fast. He loves to chase things. His favorite thing is to run and jump for his rope and then play tug of war with it. He is great with other dogs too. I have a nieghbor with a 14 month old female AB that weighs 115+ lbs. named Larry Bird that buster just loves to play with. Then when she had enough of him she tries to push him around, but he just keeps teasing her and keeps going back for more. Thanks for everything and I will try to Keep in touch as often as possible,
Mike. "UPDATE @ 16 MONTHS
Hi, I finally had a free second to email you guys. I hope all is well with you. I wanted to congratulate you on all your accomplishments, and for such a great web site, it's totally awesome. Buster is doing great. He actually has been getting some obedience training; the trainer is trying to talk me into schutzhund work. She says he is a great candidate for it. I wish I had the time to do it, but with Buster's new baby sister Isabella around I am juggling too many things as it is. Hopefully when things calm down a little, I can get to do all the things with him that he deserves. He is still the nieghborhood mascot and the town pub actually has a bucket full of biscuits for him, they even let him behind the bar when it's not so crowded. All the big leather clad biker "tough-guy's" take chance apiece "wrestling" with Buster in front of the bar, but they usually just end up laying on the floor rubbing his belly while he licks there face. I will get pics out to you as soon as time will let me. I'm glad to see everyone is doing so well and I hope to keep in touch a little more often now. Thanks, Mike Vincenzi; and Daddy's Eye Buster.
I love this shot of him. He really looks like his Dam Tiger's Eye here. I wouldnt have guessed him to have such a chiseled head when he was a baby puppers.
Its interesting to see the combination of Sugar and Tiger so balanced in him. Here he looks more like his Sire. What a beautiful head Buster is has and is going to develop over the months.
