we were hoping for a very small litter and a very small litter is what we got.
two beautiful baby girls who we cant wait to see grow.

ONE DAY OLD

so far so good with this repeat breeding. both jamma and her pups are doing very well. these two girls are super fiesty and already scaling their box. in the pictures below we found them sound asleep half in and half out of their box. such an exhausting day....

Pup Two

ONE WEEK OLD

these pups are super fiesty and crawling all over us and all over their box. we are really happy with both of them so far. of course tracey has her favorite (pup one) and che' has his (pup two). it will be exciting to see how things change over the next few weeks.

THREE WEEKS OLD

man how we toy with the idea of keeping them both. it looks like we have another recon and trouble on our hands, only this time recon is a female. if they continue to follow in the steps of the first litter this is going to be a VERY HARD decision to make for anyone. both pups are doing fantastic. teeth are coming in and they are now on solid food and super chow hounds (we wouldnt expect any less). they are now at that fun age where the are beginning to wrestle with one another and with our older dogs. we have NEVER had a harder time picking a favorite. Pup number one just has our heart as she has to be one of the most beautiful pups and she has a nice mouth on her already ( a real hickey giver lol). she is also a clown as she loves to make noises. she is too cute as she sounds as if she is killing your hand when she is suckling on it. she coos, purrs, barks, and makes all kinds of fun noises. she is absolutley a hoot and breaks us out in laugh already. Pup number two is super feisty and her size, head, and masculinity are just impressing us all too much. She is already shaking her head on the bite although she is not strong enough to hold it so she flies off lol. another humorous puppy. again these pups are turning out VERY well so far and we hope they continue on their path.

7 WEEKS OLD

At this point we are still deciding on our pick. We have decided we will be keeping one of the pups here for Che's next competition dog. For the other pup we are still speaking with folks who are looking for a working female and trying to find the best match.. At this point both pups will continue to remain here until we are positive on our decision. We consider this a very successful breeding since we are having such a hard time deciding. Pup One is Icon almost all over. Pup Two is Jamma all over again. Its a hard choice. So far we havent had a TON of time to test them (training for Icon's Schutzhund BH and I) but what we have seen we like. From drives, to nerves, to sound sensitivity we are very excited about both. It may come down to the natural barker/ super happy PUP ONE or the dirt kicking temperament of the edgy PUP TWO.

8 WEEKS OLD

Just some updated pictures of them courtesy of our good friend Cindy Ellis. Now that Icon's Sch I is completed we have taken a week off to actually get to know the pups really well. Making a decision has become even harder, I supposed thats a good thing.

Pups are have been working the flirt pole with stick hits and noise distractions as well as retrieving balls. Lots of confidence, lots of drive. We are very very very happy with the combination of Icon x Jamma.

Pup One

Icon's daughter

afraid of nothing, do first think second, natural barking, social butterfly

Pup Two

Jamma's daughter

very masculine, dirt kicking, edgy, biting machine
