KiWS' Bulldog Icon	WYB's Candy

We had the pleasure to meet both Candy and her owner Aimee for a few days and we are very excited to work with Aimee and about Candy. She looks much better in person and a clone of her sire Niko, truly amazing with a great temperament. What is even better is the pedigree on this breeding. This breeding brings all 4 dogs in the breed's history who have V-rated in protection at the III level, Icon, Niko, Predator, and Ike. Three of these are included in the first 3 generations of the litter. This pedigree also includes two Schutzhund Championship titled dogs being the sire Icon Regional CH IPO I and grandsire Niko National CH Sch III, Niko is the ONLY american bulldog to title at a Championship III and also the only dog to have an overal V-rated score. Niko is the son of Banuelo's Predator Sch III, who is also the sire of Banuelo's Ike Sch III. All dogs found within the pedigree. On Candy's dam's side we have more of the same plus Turbo who is also Icon's great grandsire. We see alot of similarity in Nena to Icon in their structure and type down to the same red spot at the base of the tail. If you study the pedigrees closely, further back you will see an amazingly high similarity in the pedigrees and you will find a total of 8 Sch III american bulldogs in the pedigree. This is going to be an EXCEPTIONAL litter on paper and we hope just as exceptional on the field.

Candy herself has done very well in both the show ring and in protection training and exceptionally well as a catch dog, catching 18 dogs in one day at a training event. Candy is titled at a UCD2 level and has done just as well in weight pulling with a WP2. Structurally we think Icon and Candy will balance each other nicely. She has a BEAUTIFUL head and very similar to our female Jamma and exactly like her sire Niko.

WEEK ONE

Well this is the exciting time, when the pups start to open their eyes and show personality traits and well as physical traits. So far, we are really happy with the looks of these pups and from what we hear they are alredy pretty fiesty. For Icon's first "non-tight" breeding we are very happy with consistency in looks. They all have beautiful heads with nice wide muzzles. Aimee says they are doing all and their motor skills are very fast starting.

So far everything we are hearing sounds right on track for some very nice puppies. Looks-wise, we couldnt be happier. Icon and Candy have done a great job so it seems. Cant wait to get my new puppy :)

From Aimee: "played with the flirt pole today...they all have a LOT of interest but not a
good bite lol they are shaking and thrashing for the last week now...LOVED
chasing the chihuahuas around...and they love to tear grass out by the
root...and then spit it out on you...

so happy with these pups!"

From everything we hear, we are too. We are very excited about their looks and the sounds of their temperaments. So far they sound like a very consistent bunch and they are definitely consistent in looks. We really really hope these lil' buggers continue to impress us.- KiWS
